De has an illustrious academic career backed by 2 gold medals, one for being University topper at the Graduation level and the other for topping the LL.B. Later she pursued a triple Master Degree programme in Europe where she earned a Master Degree in Law (LL.M) from University of Hamburg, Germany, a Master Degree in Economics (M.A. Eco) from Université Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille III, France and European Master in Law and Economics (EMLE) degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Her thesis involved a Law and Economics approach to the position of Company Secretaries and their role in Corporate Governance. He has been instrumental, for the last eleven years, in developing Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects in organisations. He is the author of several publications in Scientific Journals, Conference Proceedings and Technical Reports. He is also a referee for various international Journals and serves as a reviewer for the evaluation of research in the field of solar energy devices and systems.
